Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors may select a 21 or 15 meal plan; seniors may also opt for a 10 meal plan. The 21 meal plan is required for all resident first-year students. Students on any of these meal programs may pay cash for additional meals. “Unlimited seconds” are provided at every meal, with the exception of premium entree meals, and only one entree will be served at a time. Meal plans are not transferable. Absenteeism is taken into consideration when board costs are computed, if students were charged for 21 meals a week, the cost would be much higher.

Commuter students may also elect to purchase meals to be put on a valid student ID that permits the selection of five lunch or dinner meals for $27.50. All students can purchase declining balance dollars or Koala Bucks to be put on their ID card anytime the Food  Court is open. Koala Bucks can be purchased in $20.00 increments.  Koala Bucks can be used as a declining balance or debit at any campus food facility.

Meal Conflicts

Take-Out Service
Take-out service is designed for students that have a class or job conflict.  It may not be used for cafeteria dining. Take-out boxes are limited to one entree, two side items, and one beverage. Students requiring take-out service should take their class or work schedule to the Office of Student Affairs at least 48 hours prior to the conflict. No student may pick up another student's meal. Exceptions will be taken only in writing from the campus health center for sick students.

Box Lunches
If it is necessary to pick up your meal prior to meal time, a boxed lunch (deli sandwich, chips, fruit, and drink) may be prepared for early pickup. Please bring your schedule to the Dining Services Manager and fill out a boxed lunch request at least 24 hours in advance to schedule pickup. Special diets prescribed by a physician can also be accommodated. Students should see the Dining Services manager for assistance. Dining Services is not responsible for food that has been improperly stored after leaving the cafeteria.
